Cunningham under fire in ethics probe
California Republican Rep. Randy “Duke” Cunningham has been subpoenaed by a federal grand jury for a potentially illegal financial relationship with a defense contractor, and a government ethics watchdog group has lodged a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission.The group, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, has also noted a complaint be filed with the House ethics committee but was not in a position to sponsor a conference required before the committee will carry out a study.
